The Comar IQ Tests

These are a set of intelligence tests that you can choose based upon your level of supposed expertise (novice, intermediate, or advanced.)  Very interesting concept.  I took all 3 of the exams, and found considerable differences in difficulty level.

The European IQ Test.

Hey boy, this one is difficult!  You think you're smart?  You don't know what "smart" is!  Try it out, but don't feel too bad if you don't do too well on it.  If the going gets too rough, here are the answers to the test.

Lateral Thinking Puzzles

The "pets" of the corporate motivational seminar world, Lateral Thinking puzzles range from the ridiculous to the sublime.  Many are based on classic childhood riddles, such as "How do you get down off of a camel?"  Many of them are downright brain-teasers, virtually unsolvable by straight logical methods.  Psychologists and researchers claim that lateral thinking is the key to creative work within the business and personal environments.  So saying, try your hand at a few of these...but don't fret if you can't get them on the first try.  More than likely, it will take a few attempts.

• Classical Lateral Thinking Puzzles.  These have answers with them...but try to solve them first.

• Favorite Lateral Thinking Puzzles.  These have no answers...do the best you can. Actually, I think you can e-mail off for the answers.

• The Wally Test.  Comprised mainly of childhood riddles (I had heard them all), but if you've never been introduced to lateral thought, it may be interesting.  A good starting place for kids.

• The Infamous Eagles Joke.  This one is a stumper.  It's based on a pun, using a British accent.  Even after I "got it", I still didn't think it was all that funny. You may think otherwise, though; my wife thought it was hilarious.  Try it and see..

And a workout it is indeed!  Another rigorous intelligence-based test, from the MENSA organization.

Rozie's Check Your IQ Test

A very fun and interesting IQ test.  The questions may be trickier than you think!

Self-Discovery Workshop Intelligence Test. 

This is a straight forms-scored intelligence test that seems to be fairly valid, but the results are fairly rudimentary.  For more indepth results, you can order (money!) a more comprehensive analysis.

The Self-Scoring IQ Test.

This is one of the tests I'm referencing that is not scored by a forms/online CGI script.  Get out your paper and pencil(s) for this one.  The reason that I'm including it here is because it's worth it.  It's probably the most accurate estimator of one's true IQ that I've found on the web to date.  Can be used by all ages.

Uncommonly Difficult IQ Tests

So you think you're pretty smart, do you?  Wait'll you get a load of THESE tests.  Not for the faint of heart...or mind.  Step up and take the challenge.
